Super Saturday

Super Saturday is NEXT Saturday December 9!  Three things on Super Saturday:

 

HONDA FAMILIARIZATION (Rose Bowl Stadium Lot K, 6:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.)
COVERALL DISTRIBUTION (Property Room, 7:00 a.m. - noon, Tournament House)
TOURNAMENT HOUSE OFFICE OPEN FOR MEMBER SUPPLY SALES (7:00 a.m. - noon)

If you will be riding a Honda scooter or driving a Side-by-Side (MUV) in this year’s Parade, you are required to attend Honda Familiarization on Super Saturday, there will be NO makeup day.  Schedule as follows:

·        6:30 - 7:30 a.m. Parade Operation Liaisons, Float Construction and Float Entries Trouble Shooters

·        7:30 - 10:00 a.m. All others (Please make sure to be at the sign-in desk no later than 9:00 AM)

·        We will also be conducting Tow-Bar training for Parade Operations Liaisons and Float Entries Troubleshooters at 6:30-7:30 AM with AAA

In advance of the training, click on the following link and pre-register. Your pre-registration is required and will help to expedite your Familiarization experience

HONDA FAMILIARIZATION

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  •  Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and bring your driver license. (no shorts please.
  •  There will be NO make-up sessions (i.e. December 9th is the only day for Familiarization by Honda)
  •  All members who will be required to ride a Honda Scooter or a Side-by-Side must attend this Familiarization even if you have attended in previous years.

  • Ties (red tie and blue/rose tie) $23
  • Ladies rose silk scarf $30
  • White logo baseball cap (may be worn with white suit) $9
  • White logo beanie (with coveralls only, NOT white suit) $9
  • White drawstring backpack (may be worn with white suit) $5
  • Clear Rainsuits (just in case!) $12
  • Clear tote bags (per Rose Bowl Stadium security requirements) $10
  • mousepads, license plate frames and more!

Note: If you will be in the security zone at TV corner on parade day you will need a Tournament of Roses Member photo ID card.  Please let me know if you will be needing me to print a card for you.  If you are not sure if you need one, ask your committee chair.
