Rose Bowletin - Week  13

We made it. It doesn't seem all that long ago that the college football season was just starting, but here we are, 13 quick weeks later.

We've had a lot of great games this season, a couple of upsets, and plenty to talk about at the water cooler. This year, more than ever, it seems that there isn't a distinguished group of teams playing better than everyone else, which has led to a lot of discussion about who should be in the top-four.

With the conference championship games only a week away, week 13 shouldn't be overlooked as it holds a lot of meaning for a lot of teams around the country. It's colloquially known as "Rivalry Week," as many teams meet with their archrival in the battle for bragging rights. Here are the ones to watch:

The Game: Ohio State at Michigan.

The Iron Bowl: Alabama at Auburn

The Apple Cup: Washington State at Washington

The Civil War: Oregon State at Oregon

The Egg Bowl: Ole Miss at Mississippi State

The Heroes Game: Iowa at Nebraska

The Commonwealth Cup: Virginia Tech at Virginia

The Sunshine Showdown: Florida State at Florida

Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate: Georgia at Georgia Tech

The Governor's Cup: Louisville at Kentucky

The War on I-4: South Florida at UCF

The Old Oaken Bucket: Indiana at Purdue

The Battle for Paul Bunyan's Axe: Wisconsin at Minnesota

Land of Lincoln: Northwestern at Illinois

The Territorial Cup: Arizona at Arizona State

Palmetto Bowl: Clemson at South Carolina

The Legends Trophy: Notre Dame at Stanford

Rumble in the Rockies: Colorado at Utah

Some of these matchups have a large influence on conference championship games, like Alabama/Auburn, which will decide the SEC West, and Washington State/Washington which decides the Pac-12 North. Others affect bowl eligibility, like Indiana/Purdue, where both teams are currently 5-6 and need a win to become bowl eligible. Some games have no significant impact on the season other than bragging rights and the right to keep a trophy for a year. Either way, they are always exciting games to watch because when it comes to rivalries, teams always play their best.

Here is what to watch ahead of the final Saturday of the regular season:
